Directions to Trumbull Mountain Tack Shop
NOTE: DO NOT USE DIRECTIONS OTHER THAN THE ONES POSTED BELOW. IF YOU USE MAPQUEST OR MICROSOFT STREETS OR THAT GPS UNIT THAT SWEARS SATELLITES NEVER LIE, YOU WILL GET A TOUR OF THE GREEN MOUNTAINS YOU WILL NEVER FORGET. ALTHOUGH IT IS A LOVELY DRIVE, IT IS BETTER SUITED TO SOME OF VERMONT’S NATIVE WILDLIFE SPECIES
From the North:
From the Albany/Troy Area:
Follow NY 7 East towards Bennington, VT. Take the Route 279 Bypass and follow to US 7 North. Take the US7 North highway to exit #2 for Shaftsbury. Bear right off the ramp to US 7A North for about 3 miles. You will see a Gravel Company on your right. Take your first right turn onto “Airport Road”. Go for 2.7 miles. Don’t turn off anywhere. The road will change to gravel. (Airport Road will change into Trumbull Hill Road, and we have a sign at that intersection directing you to stay to the right.) At the top of a long hill, you will see a red brick house on the left. There is a sign at the gate and other signs to direct you to the indoor arena. The tack shop is located upstairs!
From the South:
Take route 7 north out of Bennington, Vermont to exit 2, “Shaftsbury”. Continue north on route
From the West (Saratoga area):
From the East (New Hampshire area):
From “I 91″ take the US 9 West exit. Follow US 9 to the “Four Corners” which is the junction of US 9 and US 7 at the light in downtown Bennington. Turn right at the light and follow US 7 North to exit 2 for “Shaftsbury”. Continue north on route 7A for about 3 miles.You will see a Gravel Company on your right. Take your first right turn onto “Airport Road”. Go for 2.7 miles. Don’t turn off anywhere. The road will change to gravel.
