Frank Baines saddles have

yet a familiar name in this country, we are confident that the

Frank Baines Saddlery has won many prestigious awards,

Worshipful Company of Saddlers. One of the reasons that we
have been so impressed with this company is that Frank works
extensively with riders and trainers to fine-tune his designs
to perfection. This company offers 10 different tree widths to
fit almost any horse. We feel that the quality and comfort of
these saddles is outstanding.
Frank Baines Capriole
Exceptional
comfort in a gorgeous English-made saddle. The Capriole offers a
more open seat and a medium-wide twist, which allow plenty of freedom and
a wonderful close-contact feel without sacrificing balance or position.
The point billet and self-adjusting rear billet provide excellent fit and
stability even on the harder-to-fit horses, and the wool-flocked panels
break in quickly and can be adjusted as necessary. Many custom fit
options for both horse and rider make the Capriole one of our favorites.
We stock this saddle in sizes 17-18 in medium, medium-wide and wide trees in the buffalo leather. Frank Baines Manufactures 10 different
tree sizes, any of which can be had by special order.

the Capriole, with the more
open seat really allows a rider to be flexible, and tends to be a good
saddle for riders who have the 'crotch bumping' problem. They tend to fit
the wider flat backed horses, such as Friesians.

Unique mono-flap design and moveable knee roll
(suspended from the point of the tree) give the Reflex
outstanding feel and flexibility for the rider.
The open seat and

Frank Baines Elegance Dressage
Baines has
developed the Elegance to maximize the comfort of the
horse, while assisting the rider to achieve perfect
balance, close contact and harmony. Based on a specially
designed tree, the Elegance gives good clearance of the
withers and allows free movement of the shoulder and
spine. A narrow waist and carefully angled tree,
combined with an extra soft deep seat and extended
stirrup bars places the rider in an upright position and
allows balanced seat pressure to drive the horse and
enable the rider the finest control.
The "V" girthing
arrangement minimizes movement. Baines offers three
different flap lengths and 10 different tree widths. We
stock the saddle in soft but durable Buffalo leather.
Pure Wool Flocking. Gusseted Panels. Stocking Seat sizes
17" -17.5" medium and wide, other sizes available by
special order.

Our saddle
trial policy is both simple and risk free. We invite you to try any
of our saddles, new or used for one week before you make your
decision to buy. At Trumbull Mt Tack our sole mission is to help you
find the perfect saddle for both you and your horse. Simply call us
at 800-442-9672 and tell us which of our saddles you would like to
try. We will ask you for your credit card and shipping information.
We will bill your card for the cost of the saddle and $25.00
shipping and handling. When you receive your saddle feel free to put
your fittings on it and ride in it for one week. If you decide a
saddle isn't quite right for you for any reason, just ship it back
to us and when we receive it we will credit your card for all but
the $25.00 shipping fee.
