The Vega
is created by Peter Menet, the saddler who created the ‘Amerigo’.
The Vega is designed with a slightly more forward seat balance
point to position the rider more directly over the horse's
center of gravity.
This
puts the rider on top of the movement, rather than behind it,
and allows the horse to move freely. Vega is easy to
fit and very correct. It features a flexible polyamide tree
with a steel headplate, independent Swiss panels and wool
flocking. Soft calf skin leather makes it supple from the
first ride. Our riders love the position of the thigh blocks
and found it to be a very supportive saddle which would be
great for any level of rider
We stock this saddle in sizes 17 & 18 (full sizes only) in
Medium and Wide trees. Medium wide tree and the smaller 16"
seat available by special order. Short or long flaps available
by special order.
