Black Country Saddlery is, in our opinion, one of the finest
saddlery companies today.
The quality of their saddles is superb, their customer service is
excellent, and they are just plain nice folks! They have listened
and responded to customer feedback which has led to some very useful
innovations in their saddles. The flocking in the panels is a soft,
resilient Jacobs wool which allows the saddles to break in quickly
to the horse’s back, and helps to wick sweat and “breathes” to keep
the horse’s back cool. They have many different options and leathers
available on their saddles, most at no extra charge. Turn around
time is remarkably short - usually under 4 weeks.

Quantum By Black Country
We’ve been looking for this saddle for years! Black Country
has created a wool flocked jumping saddle that is really built
for jumping. With knee and calf blocks on a slightly forward
flap, and an open, yet supportive seat, this saddle has
already become a favorite among event and hunter/jumper
riders. The wool panels are gusseted for the maximum weight
bearing surface area and can be flocked for some of the more
difficult to fit horses. We are stocking this saddle in
printed vintage leather in oxblood color in sizes 16.5-18,
medium, medium/wide and wide trees.

The
Quantum close contact saddle has been the most popular jumping
saddle that we have ever carried. At the request of our riders
that owned wide horses, Black Country has produced this saddle
for us on their 'Freedom Tree' to allow us to fit some of
those big shouldered Morgans, Quarter Horses and draft
crosses. It has all the features of the original Quantum, but
offers an outstanding fitting option for some of those horses
who just seemed impossible to find a saddle wide enough- while
still offering the style that can go in the show ring, and
incredible rider comfort!

trial policy is both simple and risk free. We invite you to try any
of our saddles, new or used for one week before you make your
decision to buy. At Trumbull Mt Tack our sole mission is to help you
find the perfect saddle for both you and your horse. Simply call us
at 800-442-9672 and tell us which of our saddles you would like to
try. We will ask you for your credit card and shipping information.
We will bill your card for the cost of the saddle and $25.00
shipping and handling. When you receive your saddle feel free to put
your fittings on it and ride in it for one week. If you decide a
saddle isn't quite right for you for any reason, just ship it back
to us and when we receive it we will credit your card for all but
the $25.00 shipping fee.
