Designed by Peter Menet of Switzerland,
Vega saddles, like their more expensive cousins, Amerigo,
position the rider forward, over the horse's center of
gravity, allowing the horse to move more freely. This puts the
rider on top of the movement, not behind it. Using a flexible
polyamide tree with steel headplate, independent Swiss panels
and wool flocking, these saddles are a little more generic in
their fit than the Amerigo’s and more affordable as well.
VEGA JUMP
Shown here in newmarket printed leather, stocked in 17 and 18 (no
half sizes), medium and wide trees, this saddle has fit a wide
range of horses from Thoroughbreds to Draft crosses. The
Swiss panels offer a close contact feel with the consistency
of foam, and the adjustability of wool. The balance of this
saddle is wonderful with the security of knee and calf blocks
and a half deep seat. Available by special order in 16,
oakbark or brown, narrow and medium/wide, with longer or
shorter flaps (flap lengths vary by 1 inch).

Jump saddle, but gives a closer feel and more grip for
galloping cross country. Integrated knee and calf blocks and
the same seat as the Jump with long billets make this the
perfect cross-country saddle. Available by special order in
16, newmarket and oakbark, narrow or medium/wide and longer or
shorter flaps.
