Duett All Purpose Saddles

At first we were skeptical of the claim that the Duett saddles would fit the really wide ‘table backed ‘ horses, since we have seen many other saddle companies that claim ‘extra wide fits’. We took these saddles to a few of our ‘nightmare fitting problems’ and we were thrilled with the results. These saddles really ‘sit down’ on the horse’s backs and don’t leave you with that unstable perched up in the air feel. We were very impressed with the quality of the leather and workmanship in a modestly priced saddle.  Nancy Temple has devoted a lot of time and effort into the creation of these saddles and she has been a wealth of knowledge in terms of fitting suggestions and information. COMPANION TRAIL

The Companion Trail is suitable either as a pleasure saddle, or a saddle for competitive riders. The panels are wide and supportive and are really ‘flat profiled’ for the table backed horse. It has plenty of D rings and removable blocks that Velcro in so you can choose where you like them!. We felt that this model was just awesome on two of our extremely hard to fit horses. The girth billet placement was excellent and allowed the girth to fall easily into the elbow area, and not wind up way too far back on the horse's belly. All of our riders found it comfortable and correctly balance and allows a relatively long, straight leg. These saddles are available in 17, 17.5 and 18”, and are now being offered in 19" and 20" seats.  Tree widths from 32 to 40 cm, and 42 cm by special order.

RONDO 2  ALL PURPOSE

The Rondo is a very comfortable, well-balanced saddle that would be suitable for pleasure and low-level eventing or dressage. We found it extremely comfortable for both the horse and rider and has a deep and secure seat. The Rondo tree has a very wide pommel arch which can accommodate a very broad "mutton withered" horse. These saddles are available in 17" and 18" seats and in tree widths of 34-38 cm. We do find the saddles run a bit small, so we definitely suggest going up a size.
