IS A LOVELY DRIVE, IT IS BETTER SUITED TO SOME OF VERMONT'S
NATIVE WILDLIFE SPECIES.

From the North:
Take route 7 south out of Manchester Vermont to Exit 3, "Arlington"
go down the long access ramp and turn left (south) on route 7A.
You will go about 6 miles and you will see "Shaftsbury Auto"
(green building with Saab's in front) on your left and also a
Vermont State directory sign for "Trumbull Mtn. Tack Shop,
Inc." Take your first left-hand turn on "Airport Road". Go for 2.7 miles. Don't turn off anywhere. The road will
change to gravel. (Airport Road will change into Trumbull Hill
Road, and we have a sign at that intersection directing you to
stay to the right.) At the top of a long hill, you will see a
red brick house on the left. There is a sign at the gate and
other signs to direct you to the indoor arena. The tack shop
is located upstairs!
From the Albany/Troy
Area:
Follow NY 7 East towards
Bennington, VT. Take the Route 279 Bypass and follow to US 7 North. Take
the US7 North highway to exit #2 for Shaftsbury. Bear right off the ramp to US
7A North for about 3 miles.
You will see a Gravel Company on your right.
Take your first right turn onto "Airport Road". Go for 2.7 miles. Don't turn off
anywhere. The road will change to gravel. (Airport Road will change into
Trumbull Hill Road, and we have a sign at that intersection directing you
to stay to the right.) At the top of a long hill, you will see a red brick
house on the left. There is a sign at the gate and other signs to direct
you to the indoor arena. The tack shop is located upstairs!
From the South:
Take route 7 north out of Bennington, Vermont to
exit 2, "Shaftsbury". Continue north on route 7A for about 3 miles. You will
see a gravel Company on your right. Take your first right turn onto
"Airport Road" . Go
for 2.7 miles. Don't turn off anywhere. The road will change to gravel.
(Airport Road will change into Trumbull Hill Road, and we have a sign at that
intersection directing you to stay to the right.) At the top of a long hill,

From the West (Saratoga area):
Take route 29 east out of Saratoga into Greenwich, New York.
Continue on Rte 372 into Cambridge, New York. Take route 22 south
into Hoosick, New York where it will merge for a few miles with
route 67 east . Continue on 67 east through North Bennington,
Vermont. (Take care not to get on Rte 67A) Rte 67 will end in
Shaftsbury at Rte 7a. Go left (north) on 7a for about 300 yards.

East (New Hampshire area):
From
"I 91" take the US 9 West exit. Follow US 9 to the "Four Corners" which is
the junction of US 9 and US 7 at the light in downtown Bennington. Turn
right at the light and follow US 7 North to exit 2 for "Shaftsbury".
Continue north on route 7A

Our saddle trial policy is
both simple and risk free. We invite you to try any of our saddles, new
or used for one week before you make your decision to buy. At Trumbull
Mt Tack our sole mission is to help you find the perfect saddle for both
you and your horse. Simply call us at 800-442-9672 and tell us which of
our saddles you would like to try. We will ask you for your credit card
and shipping information. We will bill your card for the cost of the
saddle and $25.00 shipping and handling. When you receive your saddle
feel free to put your fittings on it and ride in it for one week. If you
decide a saddle isn't quite right for you for any reason, just ship it
back to us and when we receive it we will credit your card for all but
the $25.00 shipping fee.
