I started Punky up these past few days with great success. I have just started him up again,  because all winter I was busy with ski racing and he was busy with eating. We are just on the walking stage of my program which goes as follows; walk him every day for a week, then for the next week add some trotting into each ride. The third week I will add some trotting and cantering,  so that I make sure he probably won’t get injured from starting too hard too fast.
I have made out three goals for this year because you need to realize what you want to do before you can actually do it. My three goals are; be able to compete beginner novice  and to work on my dressage geometry, and to be clean in both cross country and stadium. I am going to work hard on them by practicing and taking lessons. I’ll let you know how it goes.
